The Director of Global Sourcing will lead, develop, direct, implement and oversee best-in-class strategic sourcing objectives, global supply strategies, supplier performance management processes and effective commodity management plans to meet business and organizational needs in. DescriptionDeliver year-over-year cost savings while creating an environment that demands and expects sustainable results;Drive Continuous Improvement within the Supply Chain function;Develop Sourcing strategies and plans to best leverage spend and supplier value; Conduct market analysis to assess environmental conditions to determine a "buy best" approach evaluating value beyond price (e.g. Innovation, Growth, Life-Cycle Costs, Working Capital, and Capex) while ensuring material continuity and minimizing supply risk management objectives;Lead the development and utilization of tools & systems to evaluate supplier quotes and applying appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service along with other criteria;Oversee the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements;Identify, select, and partner with suppliers that provide high quality products and services at the best total cost;Develop agreements to ensure contractual coverage over large spend categories. Oversee all contracts, bids, proposals, and supplier agreements for legal correctness, regulatory compliance, price, and acceptability of items to specifications;Enforce corporation policies regarding the ethical conduct of purchasing activities;Visit major suppliers to discuss issues/concerns and to maintain good relationships as required. Approves all new suppliers and maintains the approved supplier list. Maintain and manage supplier performance management and rating system;Build and manage a pipeline of projects by conducting cross functional workshops throughout the organization.Develop and execute Working capital turns improvement programs including payment terms extension, inventory reduction, lead time reduction, Consignment and 3PLDevelop, negotiate and execute contracts/agreements with suppliers that minimize TCO, improve quality, minimize supply risk and assure on-time delivery.ProfileBachelor's Degree required; a Masters is a plus. Professional Certification (CPM, CSPM) is strongly preferred.Minimum 4 years indirect sourcing and category management experience including all phases of strategic sourcing and category strategies, supplier relationship management, project management etc.Strong leadership skills including the ability to influence senior management through effective communication and presentation skills and persuasive positioningHands-on experience managing indirect categories.Strong interpersonal and team building skills to manage relationships throughout the organization.Ability to independently manage multiple projects from conception to completion in a fast-paced, global team environmentExcellent presentation skills both verbal and advanced powerpoint skill is required; Six Sigma and or LEAN certified is a plusJob OfferThe target compensation for the Director of Global Sourcing (Raw Materials) is commensurate with candidate experience.
