To that end, we are looking for a passionate, forward-thinking Strategic Marketing Leader to spearhead our branding, digital growth, and talent attraction efforts. As the VP of Marketing, you will be a key member of the Nesco Resource executive team to drive successful transformation in coordination with the company's wider go-to-market plans.

This leader will work with experts across the entire organization to ensure branches and services are aligned on both the strategy and tactics of company goals, ultimately supporting powerful growth. Success in this role means you'll listen, consult, and translate your findings into solutions that address unmet needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading a modern, effective marketing organization with experience in B2B, B2C, technology, and services companies. Experience in marketing consulting and/or the staffing industry is a plus. The candidate should have experience leading and building organizations that span Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, PR, Brand, Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing, Events, and Sales Enablement. Evidence-based marketing is central to Nesco's national growth plan, so a firm grasp of ROI metrics is essential.

Goals and Initiatives:

Plans

o Conducts ethnographic research to understand the staffing value chain and customer lifecycle

o Develops annual marketing plans to achieve goals in alignment with the corporate strategic plan

o Owns Personas, Content Maps, and Publishing Calendars, Competitive Analysis, Market Analysis

o Determines KPIs and implements tracking systems to measure performance against SMART goals

o Conducts Lead Flow Analysis

o Collaborates with the sales team in building annual revenue goals and strategies

Campaigns

o Designs the company's brand framework, unique selling points, brand pillars, etc.

o Identifies marketing targets, including Nesco Resource internal constituents

o Develops creative messaging

o Selects appropriate channels, tactics, and budgets for all target groups/personas

Executes

o Leads marketing content creation efforts across websites, blogs, PR outlets, and other channels using engaging and professional copy, video, photography, and graphics

o Produces press releases, customer testimonials, instructional videos, infographics, articles, website content and more for Nesco Resource's distinct market segments

o Produces and supports sales collateral

o Oversees company communications, including design, build-out, and improvement of Nesco News, Nesco Net, and company website, as well as annual meetings

Measures

o Designs, monitors, and coordinates KPIs across all inbound and outbound channels and delivers insights to senior leadership

o Conducts ongoing test and iteration of campaign assets

o Manages marketing spend against budget

Candidate Attributes:

BA/BS in Visual Communications, Information Technology, Marketing or a closely related field, or commensurate mix of work and educational experiences.

12+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of digital marketing, user experience, product development, analytics, or a closely related field.

5+ years in the delivery of digital marketing solutions, technology, automation, web analytics and tracking tools.

Demonstrable experience building and developing highly effective teams.

Deep Digital Marketing knowledge. A strategic and tactical marketer who knows how to attract, engage, and delight customers at every stage of their lifecycle.

Strong communication skills. Ability to help others develop a clear understanding of what is needed when changes in process or organization are required.

High-energy self-starter with self-driven initiative to continue learning and improvement.

Experience working with multiple stakeholders and teams.

Analytically minded; strong ability to identify performance opportunities and root cause to problems.

Demonstrates a rigorous, logical, and methodical approach to planning and execution of initiatives.

Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
