Job Description

The Slanted Door Group is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with HR hospitality experience supporting multiple locations.?The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties and works closely with the HR manager in supporting our operations. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.Responsibilities but not limited to:Reports, maintains and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.Full Benefit enrollment processMonthly benefits billing audit ??Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.Provides support to employees and managers in the handling of all human resource related activities which may include: employee relations, fielding employee questions or concerns, and the interpretation of policies and procedures.Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility VerificationMaintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.Supports HR team with audits and other areas of complianceAssists with recruitment tasks as neededPerforms other assignments as deemed necessary by the Human Resources Manager.Required Experience:Minimum of 3 plus years progressive human resources administration with an HR department of a mid-sized company and or BA degree preferredFamiliarity with state and federal laws governing benefits administration, leaves,Worker?s compensation administration required.Knowledge of SF ordinancesSkilled Required:Detail-oriented with strong organizational and effective follow up skillsAble to work well under deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrentlyExcellent communication skills both oral and writtenDemonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-makingProficient with Microsoft Office ProductsPreferred Experience:ADP Workforce NowMulti State Labor Law Knowledge SkillsSpanish or Chinese speaking a plus?The Slanted Door Group offers:?Competitive pay, Health benefits, FSA Dependent Care, Pre-Tax Commuter Benefits, and 401k Retirement Plan**We participate in E-Verify.
